Before reading this book I had not been a big fan of the whole vampire/werewolf thing... but I have to admit, these books have changed my attitude towards fictional literary works. The author has a way of portraying characters and setting up plots like no other I have ever read. I can't wait for the next book and I can't wait for this series to be published and become a movie!

I'm usually a romantic crime-suspense fan, with a little poetry and memoir/inspirational thrown in... but these books grabbed my attention instantly and I couldn't stop reading. Very impressive. Being a writer and grammar nazi myself, I especially loved that I didn't have to stop being engrossed in the story because of mistakes in editing. I figured I was just doing a solid for my cool co-worker (the author) by buying and reading the first installment, but I definitely got more than I expected and HAD to get Bonds to satisfy my thirst, no pun intended. Cannot wait for more from this series as well as future stuff. Keep up the fantastic work.
